Nothing better as a fresh start. I just need it now.
My desk wasn’t that messy for a long time
It has been a good week!
Beautiful Day

I did this layout for the beneath the layer challenge at Two Peas. A little piece of advice for my big princess. Loved to play with layering.
The cool paper is new Heidi Swapp. I am in love.
The graphic tag is available on my etsy store, the camera stamp is Amy Tangerine.
The lined tag is also from my etsy store, the camera is cut of an Echo Park paper.

I tied two tags with bakers twine to accomodate my journaling.
Charcoal Cardstock is American Crafts, brads and thicker are leftovers from my Dani Peuss.de monthly kits. Travel twine is from divine twine.
Chapter 1

The past days I was busy with the June Kit by Dani Peuss.de, organizing my stash (again) and working on new journaling cards for the shop.
I spent a great deal of NSD at Two Peas, chatting and doing the challenges.
This layout was for the Continue the Morph challenge, my absolute favorite this weekend.
Badge is from the Away we go set, available on my etsy store. The today label was part of a custom order for Studio Calico.
When we arrived at the baech last May, the little girl thought the water was to cold for swin. It was the beginning. Few days later we had to fish her from the cold water, she just did not want to stop swimming
OMG!

May Kit: My day
Posted on | May 2, 2012 | Comments Off
The wonderful May Kit by Dani Peuss.de is already shipping! It is called Mein Tag (my day) and it is simply perfect to scrap everyday pictures! I am so in love with it! It is filled with new Echo Park, Dear Lizzy Neapolitan and so much more!
Today I’ll share three of the five layouts I did with this kit: (the other two are made with some vintage pictures of me and I want to write about it in a separate post). Here we go:
Rainy Days
We had a very rainy Summer in 2011 and the winter was not better
Going out with umbrellas under the gray sky was quite our everyday bread for the past 10 months. The clouds were made with help of an scalloped circle punch and cutted in a half.
This page is going to my Project Life album, as an insert.

Soller
Love these Echo Park papers to use as accents in the background, so very cool!
I added one of these tags in a pocket made with a piece of patterned paper. The ticket is a keepsake from this train travel

Countdown
My son loves to count how many times he needs to sleep until something happens. I used the number stickers as part of my title, which means as much as “now only 123456789 times sleep until…”.
The journaling is placed in a journaling card inside a pocket behind the picture. I love the chevron bags that come in this kit.
Week in the Life – Saturday and Sunday
Posted on | April 30, 2012 | Comments Off
Welcome to the last two days of my week in the Life album. I just finished these pages today
Lot of sun and time well spent outside
An envelope with a collection of bits and pieces of the week. I cutted to much of the white border of the picture with the girls and added a piece of washi tape to it
Sunday, another sunny day. Our neighboors invited us for a BBQ. We sat outside the entire afternoon.
I took lots of pictures of the kids playing but I prefer to not share them here, as there are other kids in the pictures, not only mine. So here is one page without one of the pictures:

And I’ll not share the following pages but you got the idea
And this is a view of my (almost) ready album.
Another beautiful album I’ll treasure forever!
Some side notes to this years project:
- For the very begin I decided to simplify my process this year. I have to much on my lap already, I do not need another mammut project. I went with a pre-made album and the idea of printing only the pictures that fit a A4 sheet per day. It worked pretty good.
- I wrote my journaling direct in the album during the day, it means that my entries for each day were ready in the evening
- I kept my embellishments to the minimun. Only few tags and labels, letter stickers and washi tape.
- The album comes with three envelopes but I only needed two (one of coupons and bills and the other for misc. bits and pieces), so I removed one from the album.
- Week in the life is still a project worth to do, even if you make project life. There are no details missed here, it is a deep overview of everyday life. This was my third albu and I love, love, love it.
