It’s all about…

Three

Today is my little man’s 3rd birthday

we had 22 guests for brunch and we still have lots of food for the whole week  (my husband insists that I cooked too much and I insist the guests ate like birds LOL)

he got some lovely gifts (mostly Bob the builder things, he is totally into it) and he was so happy the whole day, it was amazing to see how he enjoyed his day.

Makes me so happy too.

He was born 6 weks earlier and we had a very difficult begin, we almost lost him and I can just be thankful to have such a sweet and healthy son. I feel so blessed today. Love him soooo much!

Happy birthday Theo!

A fabric and felt mini album

Posted on | February 6, 2010 | No Comments

Love, love making minis! I did this one in a afternoon, to tell the story of my addiction to cross-stitch. It used to be as bad as my addiction to scrapbooking LOL

I did it from scratch using felt and fabric remands (actually, the girls bedroom curtains). I also sewed some fabric flowers to go with it.

This page is about how did I get the cross-stitch bug

Here I talk about the time my mother and I sold stitched towels and such to get an extra $$ to our very thin vallet ;)

This page is about the thigs I stitched for my kids before I had kids LOL

And here are some pictures showing my stitched works in our walls and in Maisas bed actually (pictures taken yesterday)

This page is about why I do not stitch anymore and the unfinished works.

It is so good to tell my stories, hope someday my kids enjoy reading it and getting to know me better.

Lot of snow

It has been snowing here since December 18th. There has been some snow every day. But last week we got 80 cm snow in 4-5 days. It looked like this:

I’ll include this layout in my project 365 album, so I used my Everyday 365 collection to scrap it and this cool template by Erica Hernadez. Love all the circles and to include lots of patterned paper to the page without looking full of paper.

and when the kids went out to play, it looked like this:

Theo started Kindergarden last Monday but there were three days off (Tuesday to Thusrday) due to the snow. I hope it gets better from now on. I like snow but it has been a way too much. I am ready for spring LOL
