This is why I scrapbook

Shimelle Laine, digi designer at Two Peas, started a creative adventure few weeks ago and after I watched her cool video, I totally started thinking about why I scrapbook. You can read her original post about it here: This is just the begining

I like to think that I am leaving a legacy but in fact I am just telling the stories of my kids since two-three years. I think I almost stopped scrapping about me and my feelings after my second kid was born. Writing the journaling for this mini was a kind of therapy and made me re-valuate my scrap goals (but I’ll talk about it in a future post). Today I want to share the mini album I did for this project and give thanks to Shimelle for starting this. It turned a very meanful project for me.

I did this mini from scratch and covered it wha vintage Basic Grey paper. Love this font that look like an old typewriter (1942 report) and used it for this project.

(love these letters from Creative Cafe, unfortunately they are not adhesive! LOL)

These are the kids I teached pre-school, back in 1992 (and the major of the city)

Me in a congress (1999)

(Here in the Burj al Arab in Dubai, 2005)

This is a photo of my feets LOL the day I was due with my oldest kid (she came 7 days later)

A really recent picture of my loved ones.

This is why I scrapbook. And you?
